Growing up!

Boy, Oh Boy- Carson is having sooo much fun exploring his surroundings. He loves to play with electrical outlets, door stoppers, any piece of furniture and just recently he discovered the dogs food and water bowls!!! He managed to crawl to the dogs bowls and knock the water everywhere. He is such a boy- getting into everything! He has learned from the tone of our voices when we say NO, to stop doing what he's doing. He actually turns and looks at us, gives us a huge smile and then crawls on the next activity he wants to do. It's soooo hard to try to be serious and not laugh when we tell him NO:) He is sooo vocal now- his first word was Da da and he also says Ba ba and we are working on Mama. He enjoys screaming and just babbling about anything. He also is into making a piggy face and snorting (Clint taught him that one). He enjoys giving open mouth, slobbery kisses and loves to wave bye, bye. He makes soo many friends when we are out and about, whether it is a church, a restuarant or in a store. He is so much fun and we just adore him!!!! BTY, he had his MRI on Friday and the neurosurgeon says everything looks good, that we have every reason to be optimistic that he will continue doing as well as he is and not have any longterm issues- AMEN!

Happy 4th of July!

For July 4th, we were able to just hang out at our house and relax! We had been so busy, it was nice to BBQ, swim in the pool and not do much of anything. It was a great weekend!

Father's Day!

For Father's Day, Clint wanted to go up to his parents cabin to hang out with them and enjoy some cooler weather. We left Saturday morning and enjoyed lots of good conversation with Uncle Cory on the way up to Munds Park. Ken, Clint and Cory put the built in BBQ together while mommy and Carson cuddled and watched from the tree swing! Grandma Kathy made a delicious dinner, as always, with enough food for an army:) On Sunday, everyone went to church, except Carson and I becuase he was up for 2 hours during the night- must have been the high altitude and unfamiliar sleeping arrangments. We all meet up for breakfast and Carson was able to meet his Great-Grandma for the first time- he was very excited and had lots of smiles for her, but what's new?! Carson is so lucky to have such a wonderful father- Clint, you are amazing and we love you so much!!!!
