Our family pictures 2009!

I can't believe how fast time has gone by. I keep meaning to post Halloween pics, Thanksgiving pics and now it's almost Christmas! Life has been busy to say the least- we have been busy with the most important part of our lives, Carson!!! He is growing so big and continues to amaze us and entertain us each and everyday. His newest developments are showing us how BIG he is with "So Big", he has figured out what his nostrils and ears are, he says UH OHHH, he took 7 steps on his own on Saturday and each day he takes alittle more and he laughs sooo much! We recently had our family pics done by Micaela Anderson and we are so happy with them. Carson got a hair cut since these pictures and he actually has a cute little hair-do going on- a lot like daddy's messy look! Hope you enjoy the pictures and I will be posting some more soon!

I am ONE!!!!

Carson turned ONE on September 19th and did we have a celebration?! We had 65 people to our home to celebrate Carson's birthday and the fact that he is healthy and doing so well. It has been a difficult year at times and we felt we needed to celebrate with all of our family and friends that have been soooo supportive. We couldn't have made it through this past year without everyone's prayers, love and strength. Thank you to all of our family and friends- we are so blessed to have you in our lives!
Anyways, back to Carson's birthday party. We had the food catered by Streets of New York and of course the cake was from Nothing Bundt Cake!!! Yummy! Carson had his own, special cake which he dug right into- there was no holding him back. He enjoyed the frosting the most and was actually pretty neat! Carson enjoys sharing his food with others, so he gave his daddy and mommy a lick of cake- so sweet! He actually had sooo much cake that he poopped blue the next day! We had fun visiting with everyone and catching up. I was alittle worried that he would be too overwhelmed with all the people, but he enjoyed every second of the attention!! There were about 20 kids and they had fun with the pinata and running around. All of the guests were soo generous and brought gifts for Mr. Carson. There were so many gifts that w waited until Sunday to open them and it was like Christmas morning for the little guy! He got tired about an hour and half into it and went down for a nap. When he woke up he was ready to play with all of his toys! Thanks again to everyone for making Carson's birthday so special!

The Little Gym!

My mom and dad signed me up for a class at the Little Gym and I have so much fun when I go! It's on Saturdays at 0900, so both mommy and daddy come to the class with me. There are about 8 other boys and girls in my class. I enjoy hanging on the bars, doing assisted walking, playing with the balls and parachute, meeting new friends and catching the bubbles!! Playing with the bubbles are my favorite- the bubbles are made of sugar so they last along time. Mommy bought some for me and we blow them, but it doesn't work as well without a bubble machine- maybe Santa will bring me one! Well, I have class tomorrow so I need to get to bed- Good night! Carson

Let's see what Carson has been up to!

It has been soooo long since I posted new pictures and an update. Carson has been growing like crazy. He is so active and loves to get into eveything. Carson loves playing with the dogs- he enjoys petting them, talking to them, chasing them and trying to go outside to play with them. He has lots of friends and enjoys spending time with them. He will pull anything out of everywhere- dishes out of the dishwasher, clothes of of this dresser, any item out of the pantry. He crawls all around the house and even attempts to go up the stairs and he has a favorite pastime of reading. Most of all, Carson continues to amaze us and we love him more and more everyday!!

Look at ME!!!

Carson is such a character these days! He loves to laugh when anyone else starts laughing, he enjoys reading books and turning the pages on his own, he makes lots of funny faces and continues to crawl everywhere! Here are a few more cute things that he does!

Carson insists on drinking water from the bowl during bath time. We are working on drinking from a regular cup, but he still makes a pretty huge mess!

Mommy and daddy thought it was cute that Carson would crawl to the plant and pull himself up, until he realized there is DIRT in the pot. That plant as obviously been relocated to another room!

Carson got a cheap ball from the grocery store, but he LOVES it! He will sit and throw the ball back and forth with anyone. He is getting really good at the over-the-head toss (watch out Steve Nash!)

Carson playing with the dishes in the dishwasher. He wanted to pull everything out of there, including glass bowls!!!

We were lucky enough to go on another family trip to Coronado with my sister's family! We had sooo much fun- we are so blessed to have great family to share fun times with! Carson was so excited to hang out with his cousins because he adores them and they really know how to entertain him! My sister and I drove all the kids out together (that was interesting). Clint and Wade, my sister's husband, came over together a couple days later- the guys always seem to get the easy way out- no kids and peace and quite:)! We did so much this trip- we went shopping at the mall with my Grandma, ate out at our favorite restaurants in Coronado, took a walk every morning to Starbucks (surprise),played on the beach, got ice cream from Moo Time, went to Sea World, meet up with our friends from New Mexico- Adam, Jodi and Trey, took the ferry to San Diego and enjoyed the weather. We had so much fun that it was hard to only share a few pictures!

Growing up!

Boy, Oh Boy- Carson is having sooo much fun exploring his surroundings. He loves to play with electrical outlets, door stoppers, any piece of furniture and just recently he discovered the dogs food and water bowls!!! He managed to crawl to the dogs bowls and knock the water everywhere. He is such a boy- getting into everything! He has learned from the tone of our voices when we say NO, to stop doing what he's doing. He actually turns and looks at us, gives us a huge smile and then crawls on the next activity he wants to do. It's soooo hard to try to be serious and not laugh when we tell him NO:) He is sooo vocal now- his first word was Da da and he also says Ba ba and we are working on Mama. He enjoys screaming and just babbling about anything. He also is into making a piggy face and snorting (Clint taught him that one). He enjoys giving open mouth, slobbery kisses and loves to wave bye, bye. He makes soo many friends when we are out and about, whether it is a church, a restuarant or in a store. He is so much fun and we just adore him!!!! BTY, he had his MRI on Friday and the neurosurgeon says everything looks good, that we have every reason to be optimistic that he will continue doing as well as he is and not have any longterm issues- AMEN!
